Ivinghoe, Buckinghamshire. LATEST NEWS FROM FORD END WATERMILL |
|
THE SAD LOSS OF OUR MILL MANAGER, CHRIS TUGBY Very sadly, whilst helping a friend working on a vehicle, Chris suffered a serious accident and died not long afterwards on the 15th January 2026. He was performing an act of generosity, so typical of the man, who liked working on things to give them a new useful life. As a result the Mill is behind with the maintenance which is normally done over the winter period and so openings times this year have not yet been set. FORD END WATERMILL SOCIETY. This new society has been formed solely to look after the interests of Ford End Watermill and to ensure its continuance long into the future. NEW VOLUNTEERS WELCOME. We are always glad of new volunteers at Ford End so if you are interested in helping either, with nuts and bolts and helping to keep the mill working etc. or maybe you would like to help on admissions and the shop on open days between Easter and the end of September then please contact the Chairman Stephen Booth Tel: 01296 661745 |
